The ROEMHELD Rotorlock works with hydraulic or electromechanical locking mechanism

For wind turbines up to 6.5 MW, reliable in a temperature range from - 30°C to +70 °C.

The ROEMHELD Rotorlock works with hydraulic or electromechanical locking mechanism and can be loaded with lateral forces up to 5,500 kN. The double-acting hydraulic cylinder generates the retracting and extending movement of the bolt and locks the rotor disc of wind turbines up to 6.5 MW reliably in a temperature range from - 30°C to +70 °C. Mechanical or inductive position monitoring of the bolt transmits the end positions "rotor disc secured" and "rotor free" to the plant control system and creates additional safety.
